Ruwad concludes a fruitful visit to Malaysia

Ruwad Establishment's delegation concluded their fruitful visit to Kuala Lumpur, which started end of May as a part of "Techani Scheme", Ruwad's support program for young nationals seeking SMEs in ICT sector.

During Ruwad's delegation visit to Multimedia Super Corridor, the Malaysian host has offered 60 basic ideas that can be developed into advanced ICT projects for future use of Ruwad's ambitious entrepreneurs.

Speaking on the results of the visit, H.E .E Ahmed Mohammed Al Midfa, Ruwad's deputy chairman, said: "We are thrilled with the results of this visit to Malaysia, a leading ICT exporter which has one of most vibrant and advanced ICT industries in the world".
"The Malaysian host has offered 60 patent projects in the ICT sector. These projects are based on the latest technological trends which have proven tremendous success all over the world, making Malaysia an international hub for ICT industry."

Al Midfa added that agreements of cooperation have been reached between members of Ruwad's delegations and some of the Malaysia-based ICT firms whereas the latter will offer technical support for Ruwad's entrepreneurs in establishing SMEs in this sector.

"As a part of the establishment's objectives to invest in talented human resources and to offer the necessary support for graduates, Ruwad is committed to provide all the technical and infrastructural supports as well as training and consultancies for young national entrepreneurs seeking to develop their own projects in the ICT sector. This visit significantly contributed to develop the performance of the attendees and to enable them stay abreast of the world's latest innovations and developments in the ICT sector", he said.

Mr. Abdullah Qader Basha, Deputy Chairman of Multimedia Super Corridor, the sponsor of the program, praised Ruwad's unique initiative in organizing this visit, which reflects Sharjah government keen interest in supporting creative entrepreneurs and in bridging the communication gap with international institutions.

He believed that Ruwad's young participants will have a promising future, reaffirming the Malaysian party's willingness to offer all the necessary support for Ruwad Establishment in their dedication to assist young men seeking excellence in ICT projects.

Situated in Malaysia, the MSC Malaysia or formerly known as Multimedia Super Corridor is a Government initiative, designed to leapfrog Malaysia into the information and knowledge age.

Conceptualized in 1996, MSC Malaysia has since grown into a thriving dynamic ICT hub, hosting more than 2000 multinationals, foreign-owned and home-grown Malaysian companies focused on multimedia and communications products, solutions, services and; research and development.

Ruwad's delegation will visit some of these companies tomorrow.

The MSC Malaysia Flagship Applications includes five types of applications: Electronic Government, Multipurpose Card, Smart School, Telehealth and E-Commerce.
