The three pyramids of Giza, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, are the greatest buildings of antiquity, the Great pyramid stood as the tallest structure on earth for four thousand years.
But NOW and for the very first time on TV, the 'The lost Pyramid' program captures and reveals the impressive remains of a fourth pyramid, that was once more magnificent than the Great pyramid of Giza.
The result of 12 years excavations, led by an international team of experts, headed by Dr. Zahi Hawwas- the Head of Egyptian Antiquities- sees evidence of how ancient Egypt's most powerful family, the Khufu dynasty, managed to build something extraordinary; working in a high security zone they brushed away the desert and revealed the magnificent remains of a unique lost pyramid.
'The Lost Pyramid' documentary which took 3 years to complete, will air on The History Channel in September 2008, exclusively on the Orbit Network.
