Teachers protest over beliefs

Teachers in the UAE who were moved to other ministries protested their transfer, believing it was because of what they said were their Islamist views, AFP has reported. Meanwhile, WAM reported that a senior official at the Ministry of Education denied the allegations of any dismissal. The official said the teachers were transferred in accordance with the requirements of the strategic plan.
