The Avenues hosts 'Sweet Hearts' blood awareness Campaign

Continuing to play an active role in the community, The Avenues is hosting the annual national blood drive 'Sweet Hearts' awareness campaign during this month.

This is the second consecutive year the iconic shopping destination is supporting this campaign.

Commenting on the campaign, Steve Bunce, Mall Director of The Avenues said:

"Sweet Hearts is a life saving campaign that is bringing help to many in vulnerable situations when they require blood. We are happy to participate in this drive by creating more awareness about Sweet Hearts as well as providing the campaign space within the Mall to interact with our customers. We received an enthusiastic response when we supported the campaign last year and we hope to achieve the same, if not more this year."


To heighten awareness of 'Sweet Hearts' and to ensure maximum participation from the local community, there are promotional displays and prominent advertising in the main areas of The Avenues. Event leaflets are also available from all entrances of the Mall.

The Avenues has actively supported a wide range of charitable, welfare and social causes in Kuwait. Recently it hosted 'The Blooming for Life' flower event to raise funds towards realizing the UN Millennium Development Goals. It has also supported Mentor Arabia programmes in Kuwait on several occasions.
