JOCABA hosts luncheon for Ambassador Huber

The Jordanian Canadian Business Association in Amman held a luncheon reception in honor of the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Her Excellency Ms Margaret Huber at La Maison Verte Restaurant in Shmeisani on 11 June, 2008.

The JOCABA President Mazen Kawar welcomed Ambassador Huber and said he was very pleased she was able to join the executive board of the association which included Johnny Nuqul (Vice-president), Samer Hammad (Treasurer), Elias Salti (Board Member), and Fayeg Tadrous (Board Member).

And board member Hala Helou, also Trade Commissioner in the Canadian Embassy, attended the reception aimed at cementing the already excellent relations between JOCABA and the Canadian Embassy and improving business relations between Jordan and Canada.

Amidst the amicable atmosphere a detailed plan of action to boost membership in the Association from both sides of the Atlantic was also discussed.
