The conference that was organized by Terrapinn brought together top level executives of leading international & domestic airlines, members of the civil aviation ministry and airport authorities and other stakeholders of the aviation sector in India.

Through a strategic acquisition of the Indian ground handling company Nova, earlier this year, NAS India currently provides ramp and passenger services at eight airports in India and is looking towards expanding its presence in the sub-continent.

Besides being an excellent networking opportunity, the conference also discussed key issues affecting the industry in India like regulations, revenue management, IT development, airport operations etc.

Keynote speakers and discussion panelists included Dr. Vijay Mallya CEO of Kingfisher Airlines, Albert Brunner CEO of Bangalore International Airport and PK Gupta Executive Director of Air India among other leading airline executives.

NAS was represented by Mr. Sahil Mehta, Managing Director, NAS India, Mr. Barry Rodrigues and Mr. Nasser Al-Daihani from the NAS Corporate Marketing team also accompanied the delegation.

"Apart from being a great place to share knowledge and experiences, the Aviation Outlook India Summit was an excellent venue to discuss the various developments in the aviation industry in India" quoted Mr. Mehta of NAS India.

"As we consider ourselves stakeholders of the Indian aviation industry, it is important for us to be present at such conferences where key topics for the expansion and growth of the industry are discussed. Besides, Terrapinn organizes some of the best B2B events in the world; their conferences are very content driven and we are very focused on creating a bigger footprint in India which is why we have chosen to attend this summit. We are convinced that this summit is one of the most comprehensive conferences on the Indian aviation industry today and look towards it as a stepping tone to our success in India." said Eng. Naji Al-Ajmi, CEO of NAS in Kuwait.

"We see ourselves as strategic partners who aim to help India build a profitable aviation industry that can achieve long term sustainability and exceptional financial growth." concluded Al-Ajmi.
