Callison and Tameer making history at MAJAN and ARJAN

Regional real estate developer, Tameer Holding Investment, has announced the appointment of leading design firm, Callison, as lead design consultant for Tameer's new projects in ARJAN and MAJAN, which are master developed by Mizin, a member of Tatweer.

We are honoured that a prestigious developer such as Tameer selected our firm to lead this premier project and apply our world-leading design expertise to ARJAN and MAJAN developments.

Raed Ariss the Managing Director of Tameer's developments in ARJAN & MAJAN, said: The new developments will dwell in a built-up area of 4.4Million sqft, providing a unique opportunity for end-users and investors alike. These projects will be Tameer's first in DUBAILAND vicinity and Callison will lead the effort to ensure that the designs of these developments will be pronounced with immense vibrancy and innovation, leaving a mark in their bustling cosmopolitan surroundings.

All the new projects are intended to be developed as mixed-use, amidst the most strategic locations in the ARJAN and MAJAN communities.

ARJAN located projects will contain retail and residential towers complemented with full amenities, ample parking and a shopping gallery with each development.

MAJAN located project will also contain retail and commercial configurations; comprising of high rise office tower providing adequate parking space, occupying a total built up area of under half a million square feet.

Following established best practices for low carbon emitting developments, the design intent for the developments on ARJAN and MAJAN is to create a productive and healthy environment that is sensitive to its carbon emissions.

The move is part of The Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 and HE Sheikh Mohammed's vision to deal with current environmental challenges.

Designing green developments will not only reduce operational costs, but it will also reduce electricity and water usage, ensuring a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, Ariss said.

More details on Tameer's projects are expected to be announced within the next coming months, with design development intended to commence immediately.
