Representatives from the world of finance, engineering, media, industry and commerce as well as potential and current employers of DMC graduates have been invited to attend a Corporate Partners' Lunch on the Dubai Men's College campus.

In recent years, Dubai Men's College, which is widely recognized for the quality and excellence of its academic offerings, has forged strong links with the community and the world of business and commerce - in particular within the framework of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and Link to Learning agreements.

Organisations and individuals are encouraged to become involved in DMC Program Advisory Committees, participate in major college events, provide sponsorship for students or conferences, highlight college activities in the media and the press or facilitate stimulating and challenging learning experiences for DMC students beyond the classroom - in particular by offering them opportunities for work placement or summer employment.

In return, as stakeholders in the future of the country's young National leaders DMC partners are provided with a whole range of corporate benefits including the use of DMC facilities for corporate activities, preferential advertising in selected college publications, on the DMC college website and on the college's digital display system and details of highly educated and experienced DMC graduates seeking to enter the world of work.

Indeed, such cooperation between DMC and the outside world is invaluable as it not only enriches the educational and practical experiences of students of the college - it also produces graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to serve the needs of the wider community and the UAE as a whole.

The event also witnessed the honouring of all media and press representatives who played a big role in publicising college events and news. Over the academic year they covered almost every event hosted and organized by the college and highlighted the students' work. Through the efforts of the press and media, the college achieved a high level of presence in the community.

Commenting on the help and support that DMC has received over the years, Dr. Philip Hicks, Director of the college, remarked:

"We at DMC are extremely grateful to all our partners for their continued support for our college and its students. Each and every one of them has played an important part in making Dubai Men's College the success that it is today, and together we can make further progress in the pursuit of excellence."
