HP partners with Al Noor to develop its training centre for children with special needs

HP Middle East announced today its partnership with Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs to support the development of its IT infrastructure and help children gain proficient IT knowledge and skills.

Al Noor Training Centre is a non-profit organisation supported by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. It is also run under the Ministry of Social Affairs and provides children with special needs a combination of both high level of education and training, including computer training courses to enhance their knowledge and skills.

To help Al Noor Training Center offer high quality services for the children, HP has provided the center with capabilities needed including PCs, Cameras, Projectors, Photosmart Printers and Networking. HP technology will not only benefit the children, but it will also help Al Noor Work Placement Trainees to learn key IT skills.

'We are glad to work with Al Noor organization on their project for developing the Training Center for disadvantaged children as it will give these children the skills they need to succeed in their social and work life', said John Hoonhout, Managing Director, HP Middle East.
