Alpine milk chocolate, Milka debuts in UAE

With over 100 years of natural Alpine goodness poured into it, Milka chocolates have delighted and indulged consumers with its most tender chocolate pleasures.

Made with natural wholesome milk from the Alps, represented by the famous lilac-colored Simmental cow, this leading European chocolate is yet another top-of-the-range product offering from Kraft Foods.

The magic of Milka, derived from the German words 'Milch' and 'Cacao' (milk and cocoa), traces back to 1901, when chocolatier, Philippe Suchard, introduced an Alpine milk chocolate in a lilac wrapper called Suchard Milka.

The legacy of his creation prevailed and today Milka remains undisputed as the number one milk chocolate synonymous with the natural wonders of the Alps.

Now, consumers in the UAE will experience the superior taste of chocolate made from fresh Alpine milk and the smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture that Milka promises.

Milka will be available at all leading retail stores from June onwards.

Milka comes in a selection of tantalizing variants to suit all palates, all of which contain the delicious rich Alpine milk goodness.

The 100 gm bar offers a variety of specialties like Caramel, Chocolate Dessert, Hazelnuts, Raisin & Nuts and Alpine Milk.

The snack size (38.5gms) variety comes in three distinctive flavors of Almond, Hazelnut and Alpine Milk.

To ensure the freshness and superior quality of the chocolate, Milka is available in a unique flow wrap package that guarantees longer lasting freshness.

The 100gms tablets also have a unique re-close packaging, which makes it convenient to store - if you can resist the temptation to eat it all at once.

Leading up to the introduction of Milka in the UAE market, Kraft Foods conducted a series of sales briefings for its distributors.
