Jeddah hosts EXCS international luxury motor show

After its success in Riyadh in 2007, the EXCS international luxury motor show comes to Jeddah with a big participation from top international luxury autos.

This was announced by Abdullah Saleh Al-Shamassy, executive manager of EXCS during a press conference held in Jeddah Hilton. He said "A large number of some of the top- class luxury cars from 17 auto brand makers will be taking part in Jeddah exhibition from 27-29 October 2008 and due to huge demand of other auto companies to participate in this year's exhibition we could not accommodate all."

AL-Shamassy praised those who apply for the events, taking it as chance to express his promise to all participants, he and his company will pay more attention and concern for the success of the event and to reach the required goal for the show.

He added that the choice of Jeddah came under the recommendation of the survey done to the local cars dealers and potential buyers about the last EXCS' Motor show held in Riyadh last October 2007, which gave the ultimate result to expand the show to cover other cities in the Kingdom , either in Jeddah or in Riyadh once in every year respectively.

He continued to represent his ambitious attitudes about the events, he said: "The events will a lot of surprises for car lovers by exhibiting and showing the latest luxury models which will be exhibited for the first time either in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East, including the very famous names in the cars industry."

Emphasized that his superiority in such show not only to the Saudi local market, but also to the middle east and North Africa car market through displaying the latest and the very famous luxuries cars.

According to latest reports, more than 1,500 luxury cars worth more than SR4bn are sold in Saudi Arabia.

Al Shamssay desrcribed last year's exhibition held in Riyadh as a success which led them to put more efforts, strength, and strong presence in order to show better commitment in Jeddah show.

He announced that an increase of 50% of participants from car companies and dealers will take part in the coming Jeddah show. He noted that for the first time in Asia and Middle East, the Jeddah exhibition will display the Gumpert Apollo Hybrid Race Car which is one of the fastest cars in the World. "We also will display the strongest car and the most expensive car in the world," he said.

On behalf of EXCS Al-Shamassy honored car dealers who participated in EXCS's exhibition held last year in Riyadh.
