Concorde to build $43.5m sewage plant in UAE

The Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company has awarded a Dhs160m ($43.5m) contract to Concorde Industries to design and build a sewage treatment plant for the largest planned labour accommodation facility in the UAE, reported Gulf News. The facility will treat waste water from the Construction Workers' Residential City, a planned Dhs418m labour compound in the Al Mafraq area of Abu Dhabi. Concorde is aiming to complete the plant in just 11 months.
