Burgan Bank opens Transactions Branch at Friday Market
- Kuwait: Thursday, June 19 - 2008 at 08:37
- PRESS RELEASE
Under the auspices of the Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Ali Al Jaber Al Sabah, Burgan Bank inaugurated a Transactions Branch at Friday Market.
"We want to take our services where customers need them the most. The Friday Market branch is the recent addition to our wide network of 20 branches and close to 100 ATMs across Kuwait." said Jonathan Lyon, Chief Executive Officer of Burgan Bank. "We will continue to open more Financial Centers, Solutions Branches and Transaction Branches based on customer needs. Going where our customers need us most is key to our customer-centric strategy."
In what was perhaps the first branch network strategy of its kind to be introduced in the region, Burgan Bank deployed, refurbished and opened three classifications of branches throughout 2007. These were the Financial Centres, Solutions Branches and Transaction Branches, and they met the banking and financial needs of different customer segments. While the 'Solutions Branches' focus on offering customized advice key to making well-informed financial decisions (be it investments, loans etc) the 'Financial Center' branches service private banking, premier banking and institutional clients. The third category of branches - 'Transactions Branches' - cater to the basic banking needs of customers who are more transaction oriented as well as small and medium sized businesses.
The Friday Market branch is located at Al Rai next to the Friday Market.
