DHL Oman is part of the international express network, offering shipments from and to Oman worldwide, connecting businesses.

Commenting on DHL's 30-year milestone, Geoff Walsh, DHL Express Country Manager, Oman said:

"On behalf of DHL Express, I would like to thank all our business partners and customers who have given us the opportunity to play a big role in supporting their business growth, and have contributed immensely to the achievements that mark three decades of DHL Express in Oman."

"DHL Express is a global company with a local workforce, customizing its operations to benefit the local community," Walsh expressed.

"As the first global express provider in Oman, we are committed to providing customers with intelligent solutions and first-class services, striving to do better every day. Customers trust us to provide a global door-to-door network that delivers market-leading quality and cost effectiveness. With our service initiative First Choice, we aim to be the first choice for every customer, every time."

DHL Express is the undisputed leader in the express delivery market in Oman, offering customers a range of services utilizing an extensive network.

The company's diverse client base ranges from large corporations that rely on DHL to provide complex logistical solutions, to the express deliveries of Small & Medium Enterprises across the country and overseas.

With motor bikes, small and large courier vans, and heavy weight vehicles bringing the total fleet to over 20, more than 80 staff members, and seven Service Points located in Salalah, Sur, and Sohar, DHL Express has been able to service the needs of the Sultanate successfully.

DHL Express plans to move operations to a new state-of-the-art, country office in Seeb, followed by the opening of several new Service Points in strategic and convenient locations. This is in an effort to get closer to DHL customers in Muscat, and across the Sultanate.

DHL's strategy in Oman continues to focus on delivering shipments according to promised transit times; building air, road, and intra-Middle East networks with seamless connectivity to support all services; maintaining a secure and safe network; and achieving cost effectiveness through transparency, productivity and performance management, to provide market-leading value.
