CGC wins Best Nokia Distributor Award third year in a row

Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) has scored a hat-trick winning the Best Nokia Distributor Award third year in a row in the entire Middle and Near East region for providing efficient and quality services to the people of Qatar.

CGC has achieved this big feat beating a galaxy of over 50 prominent Nokia distributors from all the MNE countries, including UAE, KSA, Pakistan and Iran.

Munther Khalid, CEO, and Anil Mahajan, Head - Business Development, CGC, received the award from Chris Braam, Nokia's Vice President at a gala function in Vienna recently.

CGC had earlier bagged the Best Nokia Distributor Award for 2005 and 2006 during the annual Nokia Partners Conferences held in Morocco and Jordan respectively.

Anil Mahajan expressed happiness over the feat,

It's really a great moment for us, as winning successively is a big thing, especially when we outshined a large group of high-caliber competitors. We thank our valued customers and business associates for their constant support. The success would not have been possible without the trust and confidence on our quality products and services. CGC has been prized for its brand positioning, strong market share, after-sales support and loyalty generation.

With over 15 years long association with world mobile leader Nokia and by strength of efficiency, professionalism and experience, CGC has been delivering satisfactory sales and cost-effective services to customers providing them Nokia phones and Enhancements as well as after-sales support through about a dozen outlets and over 300 dealer outlets across Qatar.

CGC now runs about a dozen Nokia retail outlets and plans to increase it to 20 by the end of this year.

CGC introduced several innovative concepts in the country such as Nokia Concept Showrooms and Satellite Kiosks.

It also runs a high-tech Nokia-approved Level 3 Service Centre and two Satellite Service Centers with Express Service facility at City Center and Al Sadd in Doha to meet the increasing needs of customers.

CGC is actively working to open a world-class Level 4 Service Centre and more Satellite Service Centers in line with its aim to reach nearer to customers offering total mobility solutions at their doorstep.
