ITA supports CISCO Technology Forum

Information Technology Authority's (ITA) patronises CISCO Technology Forum held 22nd June 2008 at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
As a pioneer championing the implementation of e-Government in the country, ITA actively encourages the use of technology to support organisational goals and deliver timely and pertinent services to the customer electronically befitting the digital era.
Speaking on the forum Mr. Yaqoob Al Bulushi, Chief of infrastructure & eServices from ITA highlighted that, 'ITA has agreed to work with CISCO to create increased opportunities to enhance technical capability in a move to support the county's transformation into a knowledge society.
We believe that the use of modern networking technologies increases productivity and enables easy administration for staff and enhanced experiences for customers.
It is important for key decision makers and technology system administrators to be aware of the latest technologies so that they can select, design and deploy systems that are aligned closely to the business process and deliver optimal value for investments'.
The forum showcases technology updates from the CISCO stable on the Data Center, Unified Communications, Wireless technology and Security solutions. The seminar runs between 8.30am and until lunch at 1pm with a networking break in between. Attendance of this seminar required registration.
