UAE food price cut in Ramadan

Under a deal signed with the UAE Ministry of Economy (MoE), major supermarkets will reduce the prices of essential food items during Ramadan, Gulf News has reported. About 15 food items will be included in a basket of reduced prices in outlet chains that have signed up to the deal, including Co-op Union, Choithram, Carrefour, and LuLu.
