Khaleeji Commercial Bank to sponsor Ebrahim Al Arrayed Centennial Exhibition

Khaleeji Commercial Bank is set to sponsor the centennial celebration of the famous Bahraini poet, Ebrahim Al Arrayed, at the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization located in Paris, in conjunction with the Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research.

With the generous support of Khaleeji Commercial Bank, the exhibition is to take place from the 23rd to the 27th of June, 2008.

The exhibition will celebrate the life and work of the renowned Bahraini poet.

It will contain an important number of the poet's personal correspondence with various significant political and literary Arab figures of the twentieth century.

Original paintings of the poet, as well as his personal photographs, will also be on display.

On this occasion, Mr. Ebrahim Hussain Ebrahim, CEO and Board Member of KHCB said: 'Celebrating Bahrain's rich cultural and literary heritage, this exhibition is aimed at promoting a positive and creative image of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
