AFS continues to see the benefit of its investment in its people with many employees benefiting from further training, education and support.

Recently the AFS knowledge programme, which includes study leave, has enabled Ahmed Asbool, AFS Card Centre, to complete the Banking Studies Diploma Programme (BSDP) at intermediate level.

Ahmed achieved excellent grades across the course syllabus which included accounting, management, marketing and economics.

"On behalf of everyone at AFS I would like to congratulate Ahmed Asbool for passing the BSDP with such honours. At AFS we pride ourselves in putting our people first. Giving people the opportunity to boost their knowledge through courses, training sessions, conferences and seminars and time off for studying is all part of our philosophy to develop our team from within the organisation. We will continue to invest in our people so we can ensure we have the region's most talented pool of people within the electronic-payments and consumer finance sector,"

said Keyka Pourkarimi, Chief Operating Officer.

"It is a great honour for me to have completed my Diploma with three distinctions and one pass with merit. The support of AFS definitely helped me achieve such strong grades as I had enough time to study and prepare myself for the exams," explained Ahmed Asbool, AFS Card Centre.

"I would like to thank my team and everyone at AFS for their support and the opportunities the company has given me to help increase my knowledge and therefore further my career prospects."

Ahmed Asbool is now starting a new programme, Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management (PDFSM), where he will be studying 'organisation and individuals' and 'customers and their needs'.
