Both seminars generated positive interest from Saudis, with attendees exceeding 300 people.
'The turnout at the seminars exceeded our expectations, and at the same time served Orion's aim to boost investors' and traders' financial awareness,' commented Younes Ouarzazi, general manager of Orion Brokers.
Ouarzazi noted that promoting investor awareness has a key role in creating new investment opportunities that can absorb the surplus cash flow available in the market, and direct it into profitable ventures. 'We look forward to hosting further seminars in Saudi Arabia as well as other markets in the region', added Ouarzazi.
'Our vision to allow people to seize their chances in investing,' said Ali Hamoudi, Senior Vice President, Orion Brokers DMCC. 'With this in mind, we are thrilled to offer this seminar in KSA, which provides a rare opportunity for people to gain knowledge of financial trading, with technical analysis in Arabic.'
The company is a local leader in global financial market trading, offering its diversified customer base unparalleled access to a full range of derivative products like foreign exchange (forex), commodities, metals and energy trading.
The seminars on foreign exchange trading attracted the interest from Saudi investors, as well as the support of local institutions that contributed to the success of the initiative, including the Saudi Law Training Centre (SLTC); organizers of the seminars, Gulfbase website; which provided participants with the GCC investment guide and the Shareholder guide, as well as the Arab2invest team. The free-of-charge seminar covered the technical analysis of various financial instruments, mainly forex, in parallel with the company's continuing striving to make a significant contribution to the economic development of the region.
Orion Brokers also took part in the Middle East Forex Trading Expo and Conference held recently in Manama, Bahrain, where it hosted a widely-successful seminar on the technical analysis of foreign exchange trading.
'Orion Brokers DMCC is a strong advocate of Corporate Social Responsibility and we take it upon ourselves to help educate people and raise standards of financial awareness and skills across the Middle East and beyond,' concluded Hamoudi.
