More accolades for the Renaissance Dubai Hotel

Continuing on its winning streak, the Renaissance Dubai Hotel has a reason to celebrate yet again.

Vladimir Dabbah, Director of Sales and Marketing was recently named sales and marketing leader of the year for the Renaissance brand at the annual sales and marketing conference held in Cairo while Simone Grisseman, revenue manager was bestowed with the revenue leader of the year award for an individual property in the UKIMEA region.

Vladimir who joined the Renaissance in December 2004 has been constantly commended for achieving outstanding results in maintaining market share and driving revenue performance. Under his leadership, ADR grew by $30 over last year and total revenue increased by $3m over last year. He has been a true role model for the team obtaining a glowing reference from everyone, He believes that a Dynamic team with the Desire to be the best is what drives those results.

Simone, who joined the Renaissance in May 2005 as revenue coordinator grew quickly in her role to become revenue manager in 2006. Sincere and hardworking, Simone has truly made a difference when it came to driving market share by utilizing all resources and systems and her clear knowledge of the industry and the Market.

In addition, Sandra Dias, Khaled Ahmed, Marilou Domalaon and Vladimir Dabbah from the Sales Department, were recognized with the Golden Circle's President's Award for consistently over achieving on their targets in 3 of the 4 quarters of 2007 while Jan Siddique, achieved the Chairman's award which is the highest form of recognition and achievement for a Sales individual in Marriott for exceeding his targets for each of the 4 quarters of 2007.
