Etisalat signs strategic alliance with Microsoft to collaborate on ICT technology initiatives

Etisalat today announced a strategic alliance with Microsoft Corporation in an ambitious initiative aimed at creating a powerful technology partnership that will support Etisalat's strategy in becoming an end-to-end ICT solutions provider.

The partnership will enable Etisalat to offer innovative services based on shared product roadmaps to its enterprise customers, SMBs and consumers.

Microsoft and Etisalat will engage in joint efforts to market and sell products and services under the alliance. Both companies will also collaborate on emerging technologies to create compelling solutions for customers by sharing and reviewing their respective emerging technologies and product roadmaps.

This collaboration will develop targeted solutions in several identified areas such as On-Premise and Off-Premise Unified Communications, Mobility, Hosted Business Applications & IPTV (TV over Broadband) in addition to many others.

According to Essa Al Haddad, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat,
