Ruwad board meets with Techani Scheme participants to evaluate Malaysia outcome

Ruwad Establishment recently held a meeting with participants in the Techani Scheme - Ruwad's support program for young national entrepreneurs in the ICT sector - at the firm's headquarters, to review the results of their visit to Malaysia.
The focus of the meeting was on the results of Ruwad's visit to Malaysia. The attendees reviewed reports from the delegation's members and deliberated on the next steps necessary for achieving tangible results and the establishment of SMEs in the ICT sector.
They discussed the outcome of Ruwad's important visit to the Multimedia Super Corridor, a Malaysian Government initiative designed to catapult Malaysia into the information and knowledge age.
The meeting reviewed the details of the visit and discussed ways in which to boost cooperation with the Malaysian party. The establishment presented the scope of its cooperation with the Malaysian Government and listed institutions which have shown willingness to offer technical support to Ruwad's entrepreneurs.
Ruwad conducted an outcome evaluation of the programme and examined the views of participants. As a result, the Establishment has decided to continue this initiative, with the aim of establishing a wide range of ICT projects to meet the region's increasing needs for advanced technological enterprises.
Ruwad launched the Techani Scheme with the aims of encouraging SMEs in the ICT sector and developing these projects by providing the UAE's young talent with all the necessary educational, technical, consultant, training and infrastructural support required to enable them to establish leading small and medium enterprises in this vibrant sector.
