TRA facilitates summer training program for British school student

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) General Director Mr. Alan Horne welcomed Ms. Johana Franz, a student of British School in Bahrain, as a summer trainee at TRA.

The TRA was approached by the British School to cooperate with them in their program for the students to be introduced to work environment and gain experience.

Alan Horne in welcoming Johana said:

"TRA wishes to support national and international schools in introducing students to the work environment. Further, in 2007 TRA recruited four Bahraini graduates with the view to developing the local expertise in ICT regulation."


Johana's one week intensive training program focused on the general business tasks and activities such as updating database, writing letters and assisting in day to day activities. At the end of the training program Johana will learn about effective business communications, team working, time management, achieving targets and building interpersonal skills.
