Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) signed a global sponsorship agreement with the popular web search engine Google.
The nature of this agreement revolves around sponsoring the Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition (QRNEC), which is one of the major programs at the QRCE.
By virtue of this agreement, Google will be offering a $10,000 prize for the best online business plan as an additional award within the business plan competition this year.
"The Google Award for the Best Online Business Plan" is designed to encourage and support budding entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for online businesses in Jordan and beyond. The Google Award will recognize the boldest, most innovative and most scalable online business plan.
In addition to the cash prize awarded to the ''Best Online Business Plan" winner, Google will also provide technical and business lectures to the participants throughout the competition.
Moreover, finalists will be linked with mentors from Google to receive advice and insights to help them polish their innovative ideas.
Progressing in its third year, the QRNEC provides a platform to increase the interest of Jordanian entrepreneurs and innovators in designing a path to achieve their dreams.
The competition strives to advocate entrepreneurial skills as students and mature entrepreneurs coalesce their knowledge with their resources along with their competitive drive to create a business plan that is both practical and innovative.
