"Today, Northern Emirates is on a different level, and the need for infrastructure now in open discussion between the developers and local and federal governments and consumers have confidence that these issues will be resolved and are showing their confidence by purchasing in the region for future gains.
Mr. Jawad Chapal, Exectuve Director for Chapal World quoted Chapal said at the show, "A large number of property buyers for whom Dubai properties are simply way above affordability can now comfortably invest in Ajman. The high rate of rental returns and fast accessibility to Dubai is a confidence booster as well."
Speaking after the exhibition, Syed Z. H. Abedi from Goldcrest , an exhibitor at the show said:
"This was an ideal opportunity for us to showcase some of our spectacular projects to a local audience. We have been overwhelmed by the positive response and the invaluable support from DSL Exhibitions. We are delighted with the success of our project Business Avenue and would like to thank our investors for showing such confidence in us. We are convinced their confidence will be rewarded."
Hundreds of properties were sold to an eager public and in some cases, whole floors were being purchased by a single investor at the Show. "Several of our exhibitors sold significant portions of whole developments within a span of a few days of the show," said Tessa. "In fact, Sweet Homes managed to sell over 40% of their Dhs2.5bn Ajman Uptown project."
The R&R Local Property Show will be held again at the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences & Exhibitions (Ajman University) Ajman on Novebmer 6, 7 & 8, 2008.
