As a first step, an MoU signing ceremony took place at the municipality of Assisi, a historical city in Perugia, Italy.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by His Excellency Claudio Ricci, Mayor of Assisi and His Excellency Luciano Rossi, a member of the Italian Parliament.
Mr. Rashid Lootah, Executive Director of S.S. Lootah Contracting was also present along with a number of senior executives from both the companies.
TEC.INN, a leading construction major in Italy, specializes in research, development, testing and installing of advanced materials and innovative technologies and focuses particularly on conservation, retrofit, strengthening, improvement and the structural restoration of any type of civil, industrial buildings and infrastructures.
TEC.INN has also tested and patented highly sophisticated technological retrofit-strengthening systems aimed to mitigate dynamic (seismic, wind, traffic, etc.) and blast effects on structures that can put at risk critical equipment and personnel in the buildings.
TEC.INN will collaborate with S.S. Lootah Contracting, the flagship company of the Group, as a technology and resource partner, which will expand the scope of S.S. Lootah's core offerings to cater to the demands of the growing infrastructure industry in the UAE and the region.
The company will bring to the joint venture its vast skilled human resources who will contribute their intellectual and technological know-how.
