UAE minister demands more hospital beds

The UAE Minister of Health has ordered a review of health care in the Ras al Khaimah emirate to ensure there are an adequate number of beds as hospitals struggle to cope with the rising population, reported The National. Humaid al Qatami has ordered that more hospital beds be made available and instructed a team to investigate the health needs of the region.
