Marketing and Operations Expert, Doaa Amin, promoted to Kempinski's Middle East and Africa Team

Kempinski Hotel's Middle East and Africa operations, has announced the promotion of Doaa Amin to Regional Director Operations Support.

In her new role, Amin will focus on project operations and new ventures within the Middle East and Africa.

said Ulrich Eckhardt, President for Middle East and Africa for Kempinski Hotels.

In the newly created position, Amin's remit will involve liaising with Kempinski head office in Geneva as well as the entire portfolio of individual properties throughout the Middle East and Africa; potential market assessment and project negotiations; compiling pre-opening teams and facilitating owner/operator relations.

During her time with Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Ms Amin progressed to the weighty role of Regional Director of PR Middle East and Africa whilst continuing her role as Marketing Manager, where she was primarily responsible for managing the luxury hotel's marketing and communications activities, as well as ensuring compliance with Kempinski's strict brand management standards.

Prior to her 2006 appointment, Doaa worked as Executive Office Manager of Kempinski Hotels in the Middle East and Africa, maintaining operational efficiency in the executive office, as well as contributing significantly to the luxury hotel group's marketing and business development activities in the region.

"I am thrilled to be assuming a more hands-on role in working towards the realisation of Kempinski's regional vision. During my seven years with the group, I have developed indepth knowledge of Kempinski strategy, which I will aspire to build upon in this new and challenging role." said Amin.

The UK-educated Doaa Amin is a member of the London-based Chartered Institute of Marketing, and has had extensive experience in the international hotel industry.

Among the highlights of her career include a stint in Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing - DTCM.
