Green buildings seen to hike rents

According to speakers at a Building Sustainability conference held last week, going green may be good for the environment, but green buildings do produce higher rents, Gulf News has reported. The green ones are seen to produce better rents and higher resale values. However, while this may mean higher rents for tenants, savings are expected to come from less operating costs for the occupants.
