Web address can now be in Arabic

The board of the Internet Corporation For Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has voted unanimously to liberalise the way the web's addressing system works, and will now enable web addresses to be typed in scripts like Arabic and Chinese, The National has reported. Entire domains will be able to be named in Arabic.
