- PRESS RELEASE
In creating a record with a difference, Damac Properties -- the luxury lifestyle provider and the Middle East's largest private sector Master Developer - recently recorded the largest concrete pour at their XL Tower, a modern and elegant commercial tower located at Business Bay.
Located at the strategic Business Bay, XL Tower is a modern and elegantly designed commercial tower that provides an ideal business location.
Commenting on the progress of XL Tower, Peter Riddoch, CEO of Damac Properties said: "Business Bay is an emerging and prospective freehold, commercial and residential district sought after by high profile clients. We have a total of 13 properties in Business Bay and all our properties have registered commendable response.
"Apart from being an iconic development, XL Tower has now recorded the largest concrete pour in our history. The region has been experiencing an acute shortage of raw materials and resources and the sector has been thriving hard to cope with it. I am pleased that in this adverse situation, we at Damac Properties are striking a balance and endeavoring to deliver properties on time without compromising on the quality of the project."
He added, "CSHK Dubai Contracting (LLC) - a group member of China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Ltd are the appointed contractors for XL Tower. They have a proven track record of delivering world class projects and have contracted extensive projects across the region."
XL Tower reflects a unique elliptical design and provides 172,000 sq ft of office space and over 13,000 sq.ft of retail space at ground level including shopping arcade, covered walkway, and parking for staff and customers.
The tower is equipped with parking on 5 levels- 3 podium & 2 basements with 24-hr security & security cameras, swipe access, hi-speed internet, multi-purpose meeting room, business lounge and a host of leisure activities like outdoor swimming pool, outdoor jogging track, gymnasium, aerobics room, health club and cafeteria.
Riddoch added," The construction business in the region is in overdrive and obviously this puts pressure on supply of raw materials. Our main focus at Damac is that we forecast and plan well ahead of time so that we can deliver the quality our customers have come to expect from DAMAC, and do so on time".
