First solar car in Lebanon

Fourth-year engineering students from the American University of Beirut and their professor have successfully built the first solar-powered vehicle in the Arab region. Apollo's Chariot, costs about $25,000, a sum that was raised through several local and foreign sponsors. Its makers are saying it is still years before such car will be commercially available.
