'We are once again pleased with the response generated by our blood donation campaign and we are glad to continue our support to the Al Wasl Blood Donation Centre, which has been doing an admirable job in saving lives by maintaining ample stock of blood,' he added.
FINE staff members from all departments were invited to participate in the blood donation drive.
Volunteers were professionally attended to by personnel from the Blood Donation Centre's mobile blood collection unit, which set up the required medical gear at the company's offices in Jebel Ali.
'We thank the employees of FINE who have turned up in large numbers to donate blood voluntarily. With this noble gesture, FINE is setting an excellent example to show the important role companies can play in maintaining adequate blood stock levels in our blood banks,' said Nadia Abdullah, session organizer at the Blood Donation Centre.
