Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and held at Airport Expo Dubai from 18 - 24 October 2008, Gitex Shopper 2008 promises to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever before. The 2007 event reported sales in excess of Dhs97m and attracted buyers from the region as well as from North Africa, CIS and the Indian subcontinent.
Commenting on the show, Mr. Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General DWTC said

With an increased floor space of 7,000 square metres to a massive 34,000 square metres this year, the event comes with an action-packed additional feature - the Gitex Digital Game World. Taking place simultaneously at Gitex Technology Week and Gitex Shopper & Consumer Electronics Expo the event will cover all aspects of gaming. Gitex Technology Week will provide a platform to discuss the business-to-business potential of this innovative market, including special sessions on online retail sales and interactive advertising whilst regional teams will battle it out in a series of organised games and online tournaments, held at Gitex Shopper.
Gitex Shopper 2008 will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai from the 18 - 24 October 2008. Don't miss this exciting event taking place from 11am to 10pm daily except Friday when the show will be open from 3pm to 10pm.
