Giordano's exceptional service wins award at the Dubai Service Excellence Performance Awards

Today, for the third year consecutively, Giordano's impeccable and top-notch customer service was awarded at the 2007 Dubai Service Excellence Performance awards.

The Department of Economic Development presented Giordano with the award for 'Best Service Performance in Apparel Category' for the Lamcy store. General Manager for Giordano ME, Mr. Sajid Sayed, received the award on behalf of Giordano.

Customer service is of top priority for Giordano, who have always focused on delivering high-quality service and building strong customer relations. "We are extremely delighted to have received recognition once more this year. Every year, we hope to exceed our previous year's performance because it is not only important to reach high standards of service but more important to maintain them, "said Sayed. "At Giordano we aim to go the extra mile to give our customers that additional value and to exceed their expectations," he added.

One of the most rapidly growing apparel brands, Giordano's presence in the Middle East has strengthened as it currently operates 155 stores in the region. During its 15 years in the UAE, the company has elevated to superbrand status while maintaining their 'value for money' concept. However during this accelerated growth, Giordano's focus has always remained on its customer and the development of better service that best satisfies their needs.

The Dubai Service Excellence Scheme was introduced by the Department of Economic Development to highlight the important of customer service in Dubai's thriving retail sector. Giordano, one of the first companies to join the scheme has been a supporter of this initiative since its inception. The awards are based on high customer service standards and a strict code of business ethics. The winners were selected based on mystery shopper inputs and regular professional evaluation following strict criteria which retailers were required to adhere to.
