Dubai Trade boosts customer outreach activities to encourage frequent dialogue

As part of its corporate strategy to establish direct interaction channels with its clients, Dubai Trade the innovative online service provider and business facilitator, has embarked on a series of regular meetings with its customers.

Most recently it met with the leading freight forwarder, Globelink West Star Shipping, a major user of the portal, to obtain direct feedback on its trade and transportation electronic services.

Dubai Trade Director, Mahmood Al Bastaki, together with other senior officials from Dubai Trade, DP World, the Jebel Ali Free Zone, and Dubai Customs, held across-the-board discussions with Globelink on new developments in operations and services and addressed the company's specific requirements and concerns on the range of services offered to facilitate businesses of Dubai World clients.

At the meeting that took place at the Globelink offices in Dubai, representatives were also briefed on the recently launched Centralized E-Payment Gateway System, Rosoom that enables online payment transactions with Dubai World companies.

Under the customer outreach program, representatives of Dubai Trade periodically hold extensive discussions with individual companies in order to strengthen ties with them and exchange ideas on improved portal services, in a proactive move to fine tune the online business solutions on its B2B platform.

Mahmood Al Bastaki, in his discussions with the global freight forwarder reflected upon the overall progress and technological developments made by the company to support Dubai's burgeoning business sector and laid great emphasis on Dubai Trade's commitment to its clients' satisfaction.

He said:

'Dubai Trade serves as an effective trade platform between Dubai World business units and valued clients such as Globelink. Our business is focused on delivering high-quality services that effectively streamline our clients' trade flow processes.
