His focus is to better position products and services in line with customers' needs and expectations. He is responsible for developing and growing the Group's offshore mortgage book and build relationships with valued introducers within the financial community.
"Alan brought to this role extensive knowledge and experience with over 10 years offshore banking experience and it is a privilege to have him on the team", says Mr. Julian Gouge, Royal Bank of Scotland International's Head of International Personal Banking.
Prior to Alan's move to Dubai he worked for RBS International on the Isle of Man managing relationships with UK based introducers and international clients looking for mortgages in personal or company names. Alan moved out to Dubai 2 years ago working for an International Bank promoting local and multi jurisdictional mortgages, a pre requisite to understanding of the Dubai market.
"I am looking at identifying growth opportunities for the UK mortgage business within the region, in addition to helping clients maximise the service that can be made available from the UAE", says Alan.
