Batelco delivers breaking local news in Arabic on Batelco "0" portal

Batelco has announced the launch of new content available on its mobile portal Batelco "O" portal for Arabic speaking customers.

The Kingdom's leading integrated communications provider, Batelco, has signed an agreement to distribute breaking local news in cooperation with Zajil Press, through an SMS channel on the Batelco "0" Portal.

To subscribe for the new service, customers must send the message Zajil to 4400. For only 750 fils per week, customers will receive unlimited breaking news in Arabic language, via SMS. Registration will be free for the first week to customers who subscribe to the service for the first time during June and July.

Batelco "O" Portal can be accessed through two channels - one from mobile handsets and the other from any PC or laptop. Batelco "O" portal has been designed to be user friendly and offer an optimum experience for users.
