United States still leading travel destination for Middle East travelers

By 2011, nearly 700,000 Middle East travelers are expected to visit the United States, almost a 24% jump over 2006 figures, according to a US Government report.

To leverage from the increase in Middle East visitors, hotel chains across the US are offering competitive rates and promotions throughout the summer months to entice travelers from the region and offer them a more affordable holiday experiences during peak travel time.

"Contrary to popular belief, increasing numbers of visitors from the region are continuing to travel to the US. With numerous popular tourist sites across the country, the US remains an ideal holiday spot for many Arab travelers, particularly among families and the younger generation,"

With America's Independence Day just around the corner, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts is offering the growing number of Arab travelers visiting America summer specials across various Hyatt properties in the US.

Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles is enticing guests with the 'What's the Rush?' special offer running until September 9th.

The famed Century City hotel will offer guests a four-night stay for the price of three.

An extra night for free at The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza means more time to enjoy all that LA has to offer including: world-class shopping at Westfield Shopping Center located across the street from the hotel, and Rodeo Drive, a five minute cab ride away; an outing to the renowned Getty Museum only twenty minutes from Century City (enjoy the landscaped grounds and stunning views with a Century Plaza picnic pack lunch); a day trip to Malibu's picturesque beaches for a dose of sun and surf; spa treatments, including more than fourteen types of massage, at the hotel's world class Equinox Fitness Club + Spa; or just to relax alongside The Century Plaza's infinity edge pool sipping a cool summer drink.

Florida is also a famous holiday spot for many families from the Middle East. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs offer family summer savings with the popular Summer Splash promotion, now in its fourth year.

Because a vacation is built on memorable experiences, the Summer Splash package includes a value card worth hundreds of dollars in savings for resort activities including discounts on spa treatments, golf, tennis, dining and more.

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, located in the Gaslamp Quarter's waterfront, offers guests a combination of family fun and savings including 25% discount on hotel rooms and free food for two kids that lasts until September 8.

It includes every fourth night for free, and everyday two kids 12-and-under eat free when one regular meal is purchased in the resort's Lael's restaurant or in Sally's Seafood on the Water restaurant.

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is also offering Camp Hyatt (separate fee) every Friday evening and all day on Saturdays until September 1 for children ages 5 to 12.

On special days, Camp Hyatt will include the San Diego Zoo and Birch Aquarium programs - ideal for Arab families.
