The forum session on natural gas discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to gas consumers and suppliers in a range of markets including Europe and the Americas.
As well there was a discussion on the global LNG outlook highlighting challenges and opportunities.
As well Mr. Ahmed Al Khulaifi, Chief Operating Officer - Commercial & Shipping, is participating and presenting at a round table on security of supply to Europe.
Qatargas and Qatar has invested heavily in large trains, ships and import capacity in Europe to help increase diversity of supply leading to greater energy security for Europe.
All the Qatargas and Qatar participants are part of a high level delegation from Qatar which is being led by the Deputy Premier & Minister for Energy and Industry, His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah.
Qatargas is also participating in the Qatar stand which is led by Qatar Petroleum who will be hosting the 20th World Petroleum Congress in Doha in 2011.
