BMW's flagship 7 Series model has reached its seven-year milestone in the UAE capital.
Abu Dhabi Motors, the exclusive importer of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain has reported sales of 2,793 units since its launch in 2001.
"The BMW 7 Series has consistently ranked amongst our top sellers since its introduction to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain markets seven years ago," said Arno Husselmann, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Motors. "The combination of technology, luxury and elegance make the BMW 7 Series a leading choice for our customers, in addition to exclusive customization options thanks to the BMW Individual programme."
BMW's innovative performance and safety technologies are apparent in the flagship vehicle, boasting a number of impressive features and gadgets such as class leading engines in the form of the 4.8-litre V8 and 6.0-litre V12 variants, both featuring the company's unique Valvetronic variable valve-control system which provides exceptionally smooth power delivery and excellent fuel economy, while producing a total of 360bhp and 438bhp respectively, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
