Abu Khader Automotive now offers Chevrolet in Jordan

Car buyers in Jordan looking to purchase a Chevrolet car are set to benefit from the news that the brand is now being sold and serviced in the same facilities under the name of Abu Khader Automotive, currently General Motor's dealer for Cadillac, Hummer and GMC.
At the same time, Abu Khader Automotive is able to offer an even more focused and efficient service, with most of the dealer sites now able to meet customers' needs for Chevrolet, Cadillac, Hummer and GMC in the areas of new car sales, service and certified pre-owned sales, as well as GM Quickservice. Warranties of current Chevrolet customers' vehicles and other applicable agreements will continue to be honoured by Abu Khader Automotive.
With all Autotech staff being retained by Abu Khader Automotive, the new enlarged team can call on the considerable GM experience of its fully trained workforce of around 200.
Terry Johnsson, president of General Motors - Middle East Operations, comments: "With Abu Khader, Jordanian customers will now benefit from the convenience, experience and resources that this larger set up can offer across the GM brands. This positive development will not only strengthen the position of Chevrolet, Cadillac, Hummer and GMC in Jordan, where their combined sales have risen 24% during the first fiver months of 2008 alone, but will also greatly enhance the potential for future growth, with plans for expansion already underway."
Speaking to the employees of the company, Nicola Abu Khader, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Khader Automotive said: "Our first and utmost commitment is to our existing and new customers. With this expanded team of highly committed and experienced staff they will be in good hands. With the addition of the excitement and value that Chevrolet brings to our showrooms, we are well positioned to offer a car for every taste and budget."
As a result of the consolidation, Abu Khader Automotive will operate the following GM businesses: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Hummer and GMC in Jordan. With Opel, Fiat and Mitsubishi Fuso, AbuKhader Automotive's portfolio now counts seven major brands.
