30 students to attend 10 days leadership training workshops at Mauritius.

These students have been selected on purpose as they have achieved good results of high marks and excellent leadership in both characterization and performance at schools.

They have also shown cooperation with teams, commitment to hard work and influence on the others. Four well trained supervisors will accompany the students in this journey.

This type of journeys is unique and never has been organized before. Mauritius Island was chosen by the organizing committee because of the wonderful nature and moderate climate of the island in which will be most suitable for the students.

The committee has set a distinguished scientific programme that suits each level of age besides its concentration on teaching them how to be excellent leaders in the future.

Students will meet up with the Minister of Housing at Mauritius Island in order to learn about how to manage establishments and to benefit from his past work experiences. The programme also includes various workshops those are based on the meaning of leadership management, the role of leaders, and how to make a successful leader. Some of the most important workshop addresses are: 'The Characteristics of successful leader', 'How to Define Targets', and 'Keys of Success'.

At the social level, participants will visit the Islamic Cultural Centre at the Island in order to learn about the Islamic cultural heritage in Mauritius Island. There will be also organized visits to poor people in order to build up the sense of feeling with others.

Entertainment for participants is also considered and will start with visiting the old fort in the Island besides a marine journey.

It is worth mentioning that the Knowledge Forum is set for the first time this year and has made a big effort to provide various benefits to the young generation who will be the future support for the country. Some of those benefits were sending a group of students in a scientific journey to the UK, signing a partnership with 'Watani' programme, and launching the 'Local Identity' programme in partnership with other official committees such as the Summer Camp, which is organized by the patronage of Shaikh Saeed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom.
