- PRESS RELEASE
Established in 1992 in Wales UK, Horse Weigh is currently exporting to 21 countries worldwide, and it was with the help of International Business Wales that they were able to set up their Middle Eastern unit which has become the company's largest export market, with the majority of sales issuing from the UAE.
The Middle Eastern market is taken so seriously by Horse Weigh that the company appears annually at The Dubai International Horse Fair, and uses this as a platform to launch their newest products onto the international market. Since their first sale in the Middle East in 1998 Horse Weigh has continued to dominate the market and in 2007, their first customer service office was set up in Dubai, exclusively for clients in the Middle East.
After coming second in the tender process for the 28th Olympic Games, held in Athens in 2004 Horse Weigh have successfully won the order to supply the weighing platforms for the 2008 Beijing Olympic & Paralympic Games, for all equestrian events. Horse Weigh has announced that the organisers, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, have chosen to take eight units of the top of their range model the 'Supreme Plus Extra'.
In 2007, this model was also successfully launched onto the camel market in Dubai, for both racing and breeding.
