Oman up, but most Gulf markets down

The sale of 25% of Omantel pushed the Muscat stock market up 1.2% today, with the telco's share up 2.4%.The Tadawul also rose, by 0.36%, but other Gulf markets closed down. Doha fell 0.90%, the Kuwait Stock Exchange dropped for the eighth session running, by 1.1% and the Dubai Financial Market fell by 0.79%. Speculators pushed the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange down 0.90% and Bahrain down 0.18%.
