Now, Environmental and Social Impacts of Supply Chain on the Retail Industry, the one-and-a-half-day workshop to be held on July 21 and 22 will focus on building the business case for social and environmental best practices in retail supply chains and will cover what supply chain management means from a CSR perspective, what are the risks and opportunities, how companies are integrating sustainability issues into their supply chain management while reacting and adapting to pressures in the light of some examples of best practice in the sector.
The first day of the seminar on July 21 will deal with the major topics of Building the business case for social and environmental practices in supply chain, sustainable sourcing and supply chain monitoring: challenges and approaches while the following half-day workshop will focus on the topic of Supply Chain Logistics - Making Good Business Sense.
