Master Chefs from all over the world judged the finest presentations prepared by hundreds of young competing chefs from the biggest hotels and restaurants in a 7 day competition at the Time Square Centre last week.
Chef Christophe Prudhomme, Executive Chef of the Al Bustan Rotana Dubai highlighted, "We participated in 11 categories and the result was outstanding with each of our competing chefs winning an award in all the categories we participated in."
Al Bustan Rotana Dubai's culinary representatives impressed the judges with their skills and talent which resulted to 4 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals. Indika Perera stood out among his competitors and won the prestigious Best Junior Pastry Chef in the UAE Award. Other awardees from the hotel include Ranjan Bargage, Anees Mundassery, Indika Sampath, Mihira Merenta and Athula Kumara.
