Congress Solutions International makes new appointment to handle growing business

Congress Solutions International (CSI), Emirates Group's professional congress organiser, today announces a strategic new appointment in order to handle the strong expansion of the business.

David Hirst, Conferences & Events Manager at Congress Solutions International.

David Hirst joins CSI as the new Conferences & Events Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the company's growing portfolio of professional conferences and events.

With a strong background in professional event management, including the coordination of high profile events as General Manager for Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions in Dubai for three years, David Hirst brings invaluable knowledge of working in the Middle East to CSI's clients.

David will report into Business Development Manager, Alexandre Lolliot, who has overseen business growth since the formation of CSI 18 months ago.

Commenting on the appointment, Senior Vice President, Frederic Bardin said:

"CSI has seen strong and rapid growth since its conception a year and a half ago. The company is set to handle over 20 business conferences and events in 2008. We fully expect this growth to continue exponentially in the years ahead."

The appointment takes place with immediate effect.
