Al Qasba offers cool summer activities for families and children

The Big House of Fun, presenting a unique array of summer activities for children and families organised for the first year is scheduled to be held from July 10 to August 23 from 5pm to midnight daily.

The Al Qasba Big House of Fun promises an exciting time for children and adults this summer with a spectacular line up of unique and gripping activities suited for all age groups.

Workshops, contests, games and spectacular shows, everything from the fine art of calligraphy to illusion shows will no doubt provide edutainment at its best.

Set in a huge air conditioned tent to beat the heat, the Big House of Fun will include 20 outlets including Food Courts, toy shops, home decoration shop, accessories shops, and face painting stall.

The Big House of Fun, which is sponsored by Etisalat and Nasser Bin Abdulatif Al Serkal Est. Bridgestone, aims to attract all nationalities and age groups through the many activities tailored to suit the wide representation of various communities living in Sharjah as well as other emirates.

The summer programme will encompass the characteristics of a true family event with a host of spectaculars such as entertainment shows, kiddies' shows, a carnival and a kids' fun room.

The event will also be dotted with a series of workshops all round summer for all tastes and creativities including circus workshops, arts and crafts workshops and technical workshops.

Some of the shows to be presented will include the Fantasy Show from July 10 to July 19 from 6pm to 7pm daily and from 9.30pm to 10.30pm; and the one hour Ronald McDonlad Show from July 10 to July 31 starting at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
